Seaboard Properties was formed in Florence in 1993. The company was formed to provide the finest client service and satisfaction through expertise, commitment, and professionalism in all facets of real estate marketing, management, and development. Through the addition of exceptional associates and, in 1997 the establishment of a Sumter office, the company has set the standard for commercial real estate services in the Pee Dee Region in South Carolina.

The word "seaboard" means "along the seacoast” and it is the company’s express intent to focus first on the Pee Dee Region of South Carolina and then both Carolinas in becoming a recognized benchmark for commercial real estate services. The founders brought a diversity of real estate experience together with a very singular purpose: client service and satisfaction. Both had multi-generational ties to the region as well as strong personal motivation to contribute to its dynamic and sustained economic growth.

Since its formation, the company has grown through the addition of associates who are enthusiastic, expert, capable, professional, and who have the greatest level of commercial properties and product knowledge in their markets. For the geographic market it serves, Seaboard offers the same level of real estate marketing services provided by some of the finest commercial firms in the country but available only in large metropolitan areas.

On January 1, 2000, the company became a Coldwell Banker Commercial affiliate. Ever focused on customer service, the partners determined the addition of the fine national commercial real estate platform provided by Coldwell Banker Commercial to the proven capabilities of and professionalism of our local associates would lead to nothing short of an exceptional service experience for our clients. Coldwell Banker Commercial Seaboard Properties has begun to diversify, both in its geographic reach as well as its scope of services, to better serve its growing client base and to respond to niche opportunities. Associates are pursuing assignments throughout southeastern North Carolina and eastern South Carolina. Development, asset management, and real property asset consulting services have been added as associates with the needed expertise have joined or client demand has led the company.
